The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is firmly planted in Tuscumbia, but those visiting the north side of the Tennessee River can get a taste of it downtown in the new “Shoals Gold Record Room”. Owners of the local Sun Trust bank building created a public space on the ground floor that contains memorabilia on loan from the hall of fame, as well as Muscle Shoals music items loaned by private collectors. The owners said that the space was underutilized for 20 years and that they wanted it to reflect the area, to pay tribute to the musical heritage that the area is so proud of.

With gold records spanning across the walls and custom cut guitars on the floor, this venue does more than just impress... it inspires!
